Outreach Presentation

In light of recent news regarding Fr. Eric Burgener, Mary Glowaski, Bishop Rhoades’ assistant in pastoral care and victim assistance coordinator, and Fr. Matthew Coonan, Bishop’s vicar for clergy, will lead a presentation on our Diocese’s outreach to and support of those who have suffered abuse, the process within the Church and beyond it for investigating and adjudicating these claims, and the rights and responsibilities of Priests, including their support and formation in our diocese so that we are always growing in health and addressing pathologies.

If you have any questions you wish to submit ahead of time to be addressed, you can submit them via email (church@saintv.org with the subject line: Outreach Presentation), or place your questions in the labeled box outside of our parish office. Even though the presenters are not able to comment on certain specific details of particular cases, they will be able to provide an explanation of relevant principles designed to operate in these cases. Please submit your questions by this Tuesday at noon, so that our speakers will have sufficient time to consider as many of these inquiries as possible into their presentation.
