RCIA Sponsors

The beginning of the 2021-2022 RCIA formal teaching session year will be starting soon! If you have considered accompanying a catechumen or candidate through the journey of our beautiful Catholic faith, are at least 16 years of age, fully initiated in the Catholic Church, and canonically free to carry out this office, please contact Julia at [email protected] or 260-489-3537 ext. 208. Julia will review with you the guidelines and role of a Godparent/Sponsor, along with the calendar of meeting sessions you would be committing to. If you discern you are being called to this ministry, a formal sponsor training session will be held prior to the first RCIA class.
