Development & Events

The mission of Development is to foster meaningful involvement of people in the mission and vision of the St. Vincent Parish community. Our goal is to help preserve and protect Catholic education at our school for today and tommorrow. Development seeks to grow and develop funding sources vital to the school's future. We assist in developing recruiting and retention strategies to promote our school to all stakeholders. Our role is to help facilitate communication between the school and parents, students, faculty and staff, the Parish community and the community in which we live. Read More

Finance Council

The Finance Council advises the pastor on matters pertaining to the parish. Some of its responsibilities are the preparation of Parish Budgets and quarterly review of the school budget. The Council meets quarterly and is appointed by the Pastor.

Pamphlet Committee

The Pamphlet Committee coordinates the ordering of books and pamphlets for sale in the church Gathering Space. The materials have envelopes attached for payment and may be mailed to the church office or dropped in the weekly collection basket. Parishioner recommendations will be considered by the committee.

Pastoral Council

The Parish Pastoral Council advises the pastor on pastoral issues and is responsible for parish planning. Members are chosen through a discernment process. The Council meets on the second Wednesday of the month from September through May in the Church Conference Room.

Registration Commitee

The Registration Committee welcomes and registers new parish members. Registration is normally the second Sunday of each month after the 9 am Mass in the Church Conference Room. If you are unable to come to Registration Sunday, please come to the Church Office during normal business hours.

Respect Life Committee

The purpose of the St. Vincent Respect Life Committee is to foster among the parishioners a better understanding of the life issues affecting and impacting society today and to promote creative ways to address these issues through prayer and action. Read More

Stewardship Committee

The Stewardship Committee is a standing committee of the Pastoral Council. The role of the Stewardship Committee is to foster the awareness of Stewardship as a God-centered way of life by providing opportunities for spiritual, social and outreach activities in our parish community in which the gifts of time, talent and treasure can be shared through the Grace of God as He is the Giver of all gifts. The Stewardship committee is responsible for Leadership reflections, the “7 Steps to Becoming Financially Free” program, ministry faire and other volunteer recruitment efforts in the parish, as well as welcoming activities within the parish.

Vocations Committee

The Vocations Committee is responsible for assisting our priests in promoting vocations within the parish, especially to the priesthood and religious life.  The Melchizedek Project, a study group for young men, as well as the Dignity of Woman, a study group for young women exploring vocations, meet twice monthly on Tuesday evenings during the fall and winter seasons.  If you would like to join these groups, please call the Parish Office (489-3537 ext. 3).
