More Information about St. Vincent's

Handicap accessible pews

are located in the front of our church on each side of the sanctuary.

Gluten Free Hosts

are available:  please check with sacristan before Mass for our procedure.

Sacrament of Baptism

usually occurs on Sunday following the last Mass of the afternoon; also, baptisms may be scheduled during some Sunday Masses.  Because our expectation is that parents will raise their child in the Catholic Faith, parents are required to attend two Baptismal Catechesis classes (within three years) prior to the baptism of their child.  More information

Anointing of the Sick

Please keep us informed of the sick and homebound particularly when there is serious illness.  The Sacrament of the Sick may also be scheduled before a surgery by calling the Parish Office (489-3537 ext. 3).

Holy Communion for the Homebound

If you or a loved one are in the hospital or cannot leave your residence and wish to be visited by a priest or receive Holy Communion, please contact the Parish Office (489-3537 ext. 3).  Fr. Polycarp celebrates Masses monthly at each of the nursing homes within the St. Vincent de Paul Parish boundaries and volunteers take Holy Communion weekly to residents.

Sacrament of Matrimony

A Christian wedding is a public act of worship celebrated as the liturgy of the entire believing community.  You are asking the Church to witness your pledge of enduring love.  You seek God’s blessing and the blessing and support of the Christian community as you embark on your life together as husband and wife as well as a prayerful celebration of the Lord’s love for us and our love for one another.  More information

Wedding Anniversaries

A wedding anniversary blessing is possible for a marriage between a man and a woman who are in a canonically validated marriage.  Renewal of Vows is no longer allowed according to the new Marriage Rite.  The time and date of the Anniversary Blessing is subject to the availability of the Church and Blessed Sacrament Chapel as well as the Liturgical schedule and/or parish events.

Due to the sheer volume of requests, Anniversary Blessings during Sunday Mass (or Saturday Vigil Mass) are reserved for 25, 50, 60, 70 or 75 year anniversaries.  Marriage Blessings for other years will be offered before or after Masses.

A Mass intention may be scheduled for any anniversary.

Pictures will be published in the bulletin for 50, 60, 70 and 75 year anniversaries if they are received at least 2 weeks prior to the anniversary weekend (at bulletin@saintv.org).

Prayer of the Faithful Intentions

At weekend Masses, we, as a parish, pray for immediate family members of registered parishioners who have died.  If you know of the death of a mother, father, sibling, child or spouse of a registered parishioner, please contact the Parish Office at 489-3537 ext. 3.

Parish Library

St. Vincent's Parish Library is located in the Gathering Space.  The library contains books, CD's and DVD's which may be checked out for home use.  The library is divided into 12 different categories and books are alphabetized by title as well as by category (two black binders on the shelf above the “sign out” sheet).

To take an item home, place the laminated copy of the item's cover in the letter box and write your information on the sign-out sheet (the code for the item is on the "hot pink" sticker).  All books (except Reference books) can be checked out for 3 weeks; CD's and DVD's should be checked out for only 1 week at a time.

When you are finished with the book, CD or DVD, place it in the "Book Return" basket.  There is also a "Donation" basket for any books that you wish to donate (subject to Fr. Dan's approval).

The library is open when the church is open and it is yours to enjoy!

Scheduling Parish Rooms/Facilities

Due to the large demand for parish facilities as meeting places for parish organizations, rooms can only be scheduled for parish-related events.  Use of all rooms must be scheduled through the Parish Office, 489-3537 ext. 3.  You may be required to submit a facilities set up form to indicate configuration of room or equipment required.

Bulletin Deadline

Items should be in the Parish Office via e-mail (bulletin@saintv.org) by Monday at 9:00 am for the following Sunday's bulletin.  Bulletin deadlines for bulletins before Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas may differ.
